First of all, I'd like to tell you how grateful many of us are for your efforts displayed regarding the situation in Panama...

However, some curious minds want to know WHY a former bookmaker would have such a vested interest in BetPanAm?

Is it altruism, your disdain for some of their employees, a desire to get back into this biz or something other than the above?

Many people want to know...

Thanks and Best of Luck,

Ken,

I'd say curiosity is the main drive. This is a complex situation with new elements ( bond ) in a fairly new jurisdiction . I have learned many things these past two days.

I also know many of the customers who are currently being slowpaid from my past role in Royal. They are good, genuine people.

Desire to get back ? Mmmmhhh, maybe I'm too old for that. This biz eats you alive.

Disdain ? The people I met in these hours ( thought to be the goals of a personal vendetta ) may tell you how cordial and constructive our meetings have been. I'd say this thesis is discarded by facts.

Curiosity over all.Desire to understand what went wrong. Desire to understand how this jurisdiction reacts with its control commissions in such an even. Contribute to get legitimate players paid. This is the key.

Have a great day,

Roberto

Thank you Roberto.
----------------------

This is to inform you that our joint efforts have seen me succeed in reaching the goal of obtaining full payment of your balance ( $ 1,799 ) due to you by Betpanam. A wire has been sent out of Panama earlier today and shall be available for disbursement out of Betpanam's Neteller account to your Neteller account tomorrow.

Please take note that you are part of a group who will receive full payment. Other players will have to go through installments.

Please note that I will close your file upon your confirmation of having received your money. Please do not forget to inform me as soon as you will receive payment.

At this time I shall thank you for giving me the opportunity to assist you in this complex matter. I have appreciated working on your behalf and wish you best of luck for your future.

Sincerely,

Roberto Castiglioni

Shrink:

Why aren't you down there fighting for the players with Roberto? Have you been down there since they started slowpaying and stiffing to try and help the players? Have you even considered going down there? You went down there last year and came back to tell us how you were sooooooooooooo impressed and how stable they were.

Who are the curious minds, Shrink? I could give a rat's ass what his motives are, he is doing something about the situation.

I agree it's nobodys business what his motives are, the fact that he's gone over there and had a go speaks volumes for the bloke be it for whatever reason.

Other curious minds would like to know (1) why has it taken so long for anyone to step up to the plate, and (2) why is it Roberto and not those who had been shilling for PanAm from the get go?

I believe that, whatever the motivation, Roberto's help in this situation is much appreciated by all.

Strange response from an owner of a players watchdog forum. This reads like sour grapes.

Isn't it funny how the Forum (owner) that hyped BetPanam the most, has been the one that has put the least effort into trying to get people paid by the stiff book.

Strange also that a comment about this thread from a four year poster (since 1999) would get him banned.

He posted

quote:
Who is shrink to question this man's motivations?

Where are the posters crying foul that this man was paid to lie to them for months about Panam, did NOTHING to help the players, and now publicly puts the seeds of doubt regarding Roberto's reputation and motivation.

I'd say more but it's impossible to damage shrink's reputation.

Good to see traffic here dropping like a rock.

Who got banned?

Seriously, Roberto has a ton of drive and has a done a lot for players. He helped me and many other in the Gamblers Ave situation and now he does it again.

Most offshore "players" could care less about us. They either laugh or say nothing when we get stiffed. Roberto's actions are so different from the "norm", in a positive way, I can see how some would find it surprising.

Thanks Wil.

BigMo/Megalon got banned and his post deleted lakerfan.

Hopefully it will just turn out to be one of the legendary Rx "he just forgot his password" incidents.

Shrink must have suspended Megladon.

Took him long enough. You can do a review and see he hated Ken for whatever. I cannot believe Ken put up with it as long as he did. No need allow a guy to be miserable. Ken was looking out for his health.

BTW peep,

quote:
I think I will go stick up for your right to post. See if I can get back to "access denied" status myself

You dont have to act like a child for this, just ask us.
